Kudos to Ruger Customer Service
I wanted to pass on a good experience I had with Ruger. After taking my Deerfield 44 Mag Carbine apart for cleaning, I was tightening the barrel band and went overboard and cracked the barrel band from over tightening.
I called Ruger and they asked for the Serial # and my address and asked no other questions and told me a new one was on the way. I told the rep it was my fault that it broke and she said it didnt matter and that they would be happy to replace it for me with no charge.
Ruger stood behind their product and will continue to get my business. That type of service is hard to beat.
