RE: Team 10 "The 10 Inch Tines"
Well team I am still hunting hard and have passed on many doe and small bucks. The 120" 8 point I have been after walked by my primary stand while I was in a different stand 80 yards away. That killed me. I grunted and fliped the can but he would not come my way.
Last weekend I hunted long and hard. For the first time this year I hard gun shots near me. One shot every hour or so form diffrent areas but one of the shots was very close to me. I am not sure but I think the buck I am after may have been taken by a poacher gun hunting out of season. I have not seen the buck in a week. My mother lives on this land and used to see him all the time but has also not seen him.
I am not going to give up on this area but have started hunting my land and will hit a new property this weekend.
Down but not out.

Got one.
It was raining and cold but 4 doe came in at 80 yards. There was a buck behind them. I grunted and he ran to my stand and stopped at 12 yards broadside. I could not beleive he ran 80 yards away from the doe. My arrow took out both lungs and part of his shoulder with a 2" broad head. He went 100 yards and dropped. I was 23 feet up a tree so at 12 yards it was quite an angle on him. You can see the exit wound on the top of his leg in the picture.
I need to score him but I think he will score around 80". He is not as big as my last year 120" 8 point or the 120" 8 that was poached from me this year but he is a trophy on his own.
My total score for the team was 75.25". So we are on the charts team. Good luck to all.
