So let me get this straight. If I shoot a smaller buck and than I manage to land the monster I am always after, I have to enter the first little one?

But then I go back to rule #1 that says as long as it is legal according to state regs. 2 bucks are legal here so why couldn't I count the 2nd one and not the first.

My freezer has been empty for 2 years and the first thing that goes by will hopefully be in my freezer.

I think If your state allows multiple bucks - you should be able to enter the biggest.

Since there will be randomly picked teams it should even out ,between multiple tags and single tags.

but what if a team gets all guys taht can only take one buck , i wouldnt really care about the enter ur bggest as i had the idea first , but it would jsut cause problems , this way everyone is on the same page with jsut entering their first buck with a bow ..... it jsut seems fair , cuz not everyone gets a second shot at one ... jsut tryin to make it all a level playing field!

Count me in too. I agree with Rack as well. If your state allows for multiple deer or if you harvest one from another state and then your own state you should be allowed to count the biggest one. However if the rules state otherwise then that's just how we'll have to do it. Either way it will be fun.

I like the rules, especially the "first buck rule". Every one is on the same page regardless of state laws. In my area I can shoot a buck per day if it is possible. This rule will keep things even for those who can't.

Seems to me the guys who can only shoot 1 buck will automatically be hunting for that special big buck. Whereas, the guys who are allowed 2 bucks or more might be more inclined to shoot a lesser buck early season.

I am happy to follow whatever rules are posted, but, IMO it should be best buck.
