Monsterbuck63: If you decide on the Barnett Ghost 410: check it over very carefully;1)make sure the string is 90 degrees to the stock when the riser is installed, 2)that the limb rockers (4 each) are installed, 3)cams leveled and timed, 4)proper axle to axle measurement, 5)shooting the advertised speed using the Barnett Head Hunter arrows based on the 400 grain calculation formula. For every 10 grain over the basic 400 one loses 3 feet per second. Barnett stock arrow-point combination weigh 432 grain. 32 grain over divide by 10 = 3.2 x 3 (feet per second loss)=9.6 feet per second. 410-9.6=400.4 feet per second. Shooting through a chronograph set one arrow length in front of the crossbow stirrup should show a reading of 400 feet per second. The two major things to do:1)replace the cam bearings with a one piece bushing. The bearings are poor quality and too large for the axle shaft. 2)replace the string and cables with 60X. These are precision built with absolutely no stretch or serving separation, which will happen with the stock Barnett. Doing these modifications and properly sighted in, this is a very accurate shooting crossbow. All the best.

Barnett gets a bunch of hate that other manufacturers should be getting also.
