What kind of bow is this?
I have a bow left in my house when I bought it that I would like to sell but I don't know what kind it is or how much it is worth. I would appreciate any help from you all. Pictures are attached. Case is marked Flambeau Outdoors. I think I found the case for sale on the internet for about $40 but can't find anything out about the bow. Is it a crossbow? Thank you! Karen

There's a similar bow on Ebay right now:

Opening bid is $40, and no one has bid yet. I agree that the case is probably worth more than the bow.

Yes thats NOT a crossbow, its a compound bow. That's an OLD Indian Archery "Hunter" model bow I'd guess the vintage of to be in the late 70s-early 80s. Indian Archery became XI in the mid/late 80s. (Their parent company now owns Bear Archery among many others)
The bow is essentially worthless unless someone has an emotional attachment to that model (maybe they had one many years ago) or they want to hang it on the wall at their hunting cabin for decoration. I'd say $10-$20 tops. I certainly WOULDN'T fire it until someone replaced the cables & string. (Which would cost more than the bows worth)
The case is missing the piece that would allow it to hold arrows. That case would be worth $20-$30.
