Horton, "What about warranties?"

Horton, "What about warranties?"
I was in Bass Pro Shop the other day and they had a bunch of Horton bows for sale. Now I'm wondering who is going to honor the warrantee. Or are they being sold without one???

Wiht a little research I came across info that the founder of Ten Point was once heavily involved in Horton. But when the decision was made to out source the components to our friends from the Orient and the quality suffered for the sack of the almighty dollar, he walked.
Horton has indeed folded. I would not buy one.
If I read between the lines corrrectly, Ten Point plans to crank up "Horton" in early 2014, with the goal of rehabilitating the brand name by putting out a high quality product.
My humble question is ... why ? There are many manufacturer's now that offer high quality cross bows at a fair price. What would one more bring to the table? Guess we shall see.

One of the principals at TP has a soft spot for Horton. He was originally involved with Horton and wants to bring honor to the brand again. They will not, however, service or warranty any of the past models.

I think that who sells these bows should be upfront with the customers and tell them of no warrantee!!!!! I own a Horton bow and will live with it. I have a few extra replacement items and keep going till I have no way to use it anymore.
This stinks for sure!!! But there is nothing we all can do about it.

I just bought a Horton Zombie for my wife NIB with scope, quiver, and bolts. I doubt she will hunt with it more than a few times a season. I couldn't pass on the price of $200.00 even with the risk of no warranty.
