target worn out
or want to make a vertical bow target into a crossbow target? If its a layered target put a board on each side and tighten it down with a ratchet strap. Works great although I'm ordering an arrow puller.

Been there done that, good way to get a hernia. Assuming you're shooting fieldpoints, fill a mesh sack with old clothes. Works great, arrows easy to remove> Here's my range of same. Only sacks are tron Third Hand Archery.
BTW my Slick Trick and Spitfire tipped arrows fly just like fieldpoints, no longer practice with broadheads.

I shoot broadheads close to and during the season. because I Never found a broadhead thats exactly the same as a field point, including slick tricks. close but not exact. Been a while since I tried spitfires though. Can't remember how they shot to be honest.

If you gotta have exact same hole you gotta do what you do I guess. Me, I'm thinking 1" at 40 yards is minute of deer kill zone.

I'm not new to crossbows, bows or rifles. You're starting to get annoying with your 1/4" moa comment. My point was if my broadheads don't fly like the field points I am going to practice with broadheads. Key words "I am". Simple concept. Truly don't care what you do. Typical internet know it all idiot. The point of the thread was a tip for getting a little more life out of a target and you felt the need to hijack it. Not sure why you're preaching about arrows. Didn't ask. You're condensation is duly noted though. Please leave my thread alone. If I'm right you won't be able to let this go and you'll post more blowhard nonsense. This site isn't for me I guess. Go ahead and write in vain. I'll go elsewhere.
