Default horton express 150

Hello, i am new to this forum and new to crossbows and i need a little help. a couple months ago i bough a older horton express 150 used. i had a new string put on it and it shoots great the problem i have is that its so old i am having a hard time finding any info on it. and the guy that put the string on it didnt know much either. the serial number is 181427. i contacted horton throu email and havnt got a repley yet. i am trying to find out the fps and the year made. I paid 100.00 and put 25.00 in a string did i get burnt? i also want to add a red dot scope any recomendations. any info would help thanks

All of Hortons 150 lb models are about the same on the entry lvl models 240-260 fps. As fer getting burnt fer a hundred, i think you did well & it will certainly kill deer n hogs & whatever else you want. Keep game 30 yds & under using good arrow & BH. Congrats on yer Bow. You can find many a used red dots at reasonable price or new one's most are made across the big pond.

The Express model of Hortons is an older model best i remember in the 90's. So its going to be at least 12 yrs old

horton sent me a email my bow was made in 99 and the fps is 245, and surprizingly they still make parts for it lol. i was looking at a truglo multi- recticlescope do think it would match up ok with this bow?

Don't knowed much about Tru-glo products cept some have had good luck n some b ad luck with them. If'en it don't have lifetime warranty i would fer one that did.
