Bolts: no knocks?
Just received my Excalibur Poenix lite stuff crossbow and I am pretty sure of the answer, but I am learning as I go on Xbows as this is my first one.
The pkg comes with Excalibur Firebolt carbon bolts. They come with field points, but the rear of the bolt doesn't have any kind of knocking point to put on the string. I assume that they are shot this way with no knocking aid, just the flat rear end?
Just don't want to do anything stupid to start off with. Will be reading the owners manual this week so that should answer most of my questions.
TIA!

Those threaded holes in the nocks are for 'T' handle arrow pullers which can leave arrow in target while pulling the nock. If you need a puller, here's a better alternative, made and sold by Danny Miller, USA warranty rep for Excal in Sardis, Oh [740] 483-2312.
Soft lined jaws, will grab behind fletch if need be.

Yeah, I realized my misspelling right after posting, but couldn't change it! Thanks again for the info! To a guy who has just shot recruves and compound bows all my life, this is a whole other country!
The really neat thing is that the combo and accessories (with targets, etc) cost about $800, but because of what I have saved up on different Visa programs, I actually spent $38 out of pocket!
This is actually a crossbow I bought for my daughter and I. She loves to go with me hunting, but won't shoot a gun due to recoil and loud noises. She wants to try a Xbow. Should be an interesting project.
