Turkey Guillotines
Been meaning to give em a try. Before I do, seeking some input by folks with experience in their use.
1) How do they fly when compared to field tips?
2) How do did you practice with them? Seems like it's a one shot deal.
3. Do they fly consistently, one head to the next, or does each one have to be tuned?
Any other info tha may be useful?
All set with Spitfires for tomorrow, but my tinkering mode is kicking in
PS. Realize I have to modify my stirrup.

You do have to offset the stirrup so the head can clear. Being a consummate tinkerer, I've found a way to do that...just wanted to know if it would be worth the hassle.

I use Rocket Stricknines 2 inch cut 125 gr. and they work well with the screen in my blinds. What they do to a turkey, well needless to say you don't have to finish them off with a club so far they are a one shot head but I can live with that.

A friend shoots them out of his compound bow.
He said he was told to drop the poundage on his bow so they would fly. He also said 15 yards is about the max range for accuracy. Out of a crossbow????????????
I use a 3 blade RAGE for turkeys.
