The best advice I can give you is to call David Wilkins at Wyvern Creations, you can finid it on his web page "Wyvern Creations" probably the best all around and most knowledgeable person there is. Very good to talk to and will shoot straight on any thing you need to know about crossbows! The man is second to none when it comes crossbows and its accessories. He will advise or sell you what is correct for you.

paparrucho

ps. for me tenpoint is the best.

Call David at Wyvern 603-659-0575 and talk to him before you buy online. It's a phone call you will not ever regret!

I would go to crossbow-review.com and look what they say there. I would like the Barnett Revolution in the under 500 dollar and the Parker Tornado in the 700 dollar catagory. I also didnt want to spend to much when I switched this spring and choose the Barnett Revolution and have taken a deer with a special permit already. I good bow and very accurate. Some do not like the short warranty but for the price point and the 345 FPS performance its hard to beat. Pick a price do some research and go hold them and that will help. Buckeyefootball

Buckeye Bozo, You price point crap is getting ridicilous. You continue to try to sway people to a Barnett when all the probelms with Barnett should convince a smart person to stay away from them . Why don't you go back to your village? They need you, we sure as heck don't wnat you here!!

Hank,

Now that your list has been thinned you really need to get to a place where you can shoot them and see what fits you best. When my dad was looking for one we went to Cabelas and shot the ones he was interested to see what was the best fit for him. Then we called David and ordered the bow.
