Default going nuts!!!!!!!!!!!

last day to fill my doe only tag. seen lots of deer just none close enough to get a shot at. well there have been a few but they were in to much thicket. i've passed on a few 4pt and button bucks since my other tag is good for either till feb. tomorrow our gun season starts. it's been one weird bow season for me so far. well wish me luck fellow hunters-i think i will need it! i gotta go get in the woods.

I would be SO happy just to be able to say that....I have seen one doe at 60yrds since Sept 15th up here....that is it...ONE doe (and not even a decent size one). I have one friend that has hunted 4 days a week for about a month now dawn to dusk in several diferant areasand he has only seen 2 does and both out of range. I am so frustrated at the lack of animals in my area that I have pretty well given up for the season and am content to just eat hamburger.[:@] Count yourself very lucky that you are at least seeing animals and not sitting in the woods for hours thinking about all the other things you should be doing instead of wasting time looking at red squirrels...

this is my worst deer season here in western clinton county,pa. in my life

i seen 11 doe and 1 buck.

that is for 4 weeks of archery and around a 25 mile circle.

i only hunt bucks and shot was at 33 yards looking at me and i did not want to shoot unless its a broadside shot.

i used to see that many deer in a 1 mile area.

we have miles of woods with no deer now and doe killing continues.

DCNR is very happy and they want hunters to kill all doe off and hunters are doing it.

Same here in eastern Pa. Only private land has some deer left, I saw about 15 deer all bow season, I just retired and started off wanting an 8 or more, after 3 weeks I would have been happy to get a doe, Got none with the bow.

i had 9 new jersey hunters put treestands all around me first day of gun season here in wmu2g.

you believe that.

not 1 got a deer,not 1.

all they did was scare the buck i was after out of area.

my treestand was froze to ground also.

we have 8/10 inchs of snow here in clinton county.

so, now sproul is trying to stalk a buck, man, i am out of shape for that

Well Mr. Wilkins having hunted NH in the past I know there are only 20 to 30 deer in the whole state.I used to go up to Colbrook with a few guys for rifle and someone always shot a big one. Sure bows of any kind are alot tougher but you need deer to hunt them. You might not have many but you sure have some biggums up there.

Fitzwilliams used to be a great spot for me during early ML but I did not find enough droppings my last trip up there to make thin soup..
