arrows alum. or carbon Horton has a min weight to follow. i am not sure exactly 425 grs is good ballpark. alum. 2216 or 2219 carbon Horton has some made for them. others include GT II Laser easton firebolts and power bolts also bemans use moon noks

In an e-mail I received from Horton, they told me 400 grains total weight was the lower limit.

100 grains will work just fine for deer. I value velocity over kenetic energy for whitetails. I shoot a stubby 4 bladed head (Slick Tricks) becasue it has more ci0 autting surfaces and keeps the arrow from planing. They kill deer. Will also be trying NAP Spitfires this year, three bladed mechanical BH's that don't use ribber bands to keep blades from opening.

i use 100 gr SPITFIRES for target with target blades .
i took the razor blades and shot them 1 time and they hit same spot as the target blades, soooooooooooooooooo,i dont even use the razor blades at all even if i was going to hunt with them.

my arrows weight 400 grs with 2 inchblazer vanes, alumium insert,20 inch 2216,100 gr spitfire.
