Yep..I found out that the hard way as well when I went to set up a customer with one. If you take off the rubber it "almost" fits, but that is still a pain. Parker is still working out some of the production bugs on this bow...

i don't know where to start, i feel for you on that problem. i have told all to read study shoot the CB/CB's prior to plunking down your coins. thats where solid R&D were to have done their jobs so everything would work prior to the CB/CB's being put out on the market![&o]

RE: sidewinder-cyclone
One of the issues is that it is a radical departure from their prior designs and they pushed to get it onto the market prior to season. Some of the issues would have only shown up once production really kicked in for the bow so it would not have mattered when it was introduced, others, (like the crank) are showing up as a "lets get the bow out now and these parts will follow in a few weeks". There is a tremendous pressure in the industry to get that "new" bow out intime for season. It is actually a great bow, but it has some issues that would have been nice to get straightend out prior to introduction. I would really like to see manufacturers slow down a tad and get more input from people in the field before they produce something. It is very tough when hundreds of thousands of dollars are sitting in limbo while you work on a detail and miss season because of it and have to wait a whole year to get the bow onto the market....

This bow is a bear to pull becasue of the short, stiff limbs. Have not tried my mechanical cocker that I got for the Terminator becasue I can pull it yet. But I can see where it would cause someone with limitations a problem. On the bright side, mine shoot very accurately and with more velocity than necessary for most hunting. I'm getting well over 350 fps with 425 grn arrows. Part of my joy is making things work better. SAo a trigger job and using the Excalibur string cocker (fewere roll-overs) makes me a happy camper. I guess that's the price we pay for being the first to o wn one.

RE: sidewinder-cyclone
i was wondering why the string cocking rig has the hooks one way and the hooks on the sidewinder is 90 degree off? even if you get it to fit the butt of the crossbow looks like it wont pull smooth like the cocking rig that comes with the crossbow? dont know if this makes sense or not?
