Yeah, moon nocks. Field points are great, but I was able to find some 100 grain, as that is the WT of the broadheads I was able to get my hands on.

Several of you have PM'd me and have worked hard to get a few things in the mail, thank you from me, and thank you for the cause. As a person who was told he could never do the hunting, fishing, and trapping he used to, many of you have restored my faith in the basic kindness of man. I was able to to get help from fellow outdoorsman to assist me, and now I am doing what ever I can to re-pay that, pass it on so to speak. Thank You for allowing me to do that and your sacrifice of equipment and willingness to help. It not only means the world to me, but these things will help some guys, who used to hunt and never thought they would again, and the part I get the most joy from, watching the youngins' smile out of just the thought of being able to hunt. The smiles just hitting a target, my god, it is like a happiness you get when you shoot your first buck, or that first day upland bird hunting!

Anyone have a good dependable and reliable crossbow that they would care to donate to Joe's group?? Had I know about this two months ago I would have had one.

How about it?? Surely this is a kind hearted sole with a crossbow they can spare????

Maybe be can start a Tin Cup fund here for donations to buy Joe another crossbow to help these guys do somehunting?? I'll start it off my offering $50.oo to the fund.

Who would want to collect the funds and buy the crossbow????

Please know my group is hard up for everything, camo, misc equipment, we have no range finder, no spotting scope, no real fishing or hunting equipment. Being a new chapter, we have zip, nada, zero, zilch. If you could have less than zero, that would be us! ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE! If you have any doubts of my goals, please PM me and I will put you in contact with the regional VP I report to! Right now, it is all my personal gear getting used, I dont mind it, but would like to have stuff that can be passed around. I was able to get a military supplier of sandbags to donate 200. The goal being to build a blind that is wheel chair possible. If it is one thing the USMC tought me it was what to do with sandbags! I also think, that you all deserve to know about me some.
I was a Marine, Police Chief, Firefighter, High End private security Specialist, and the Security Ops manager of our countries second largest train station by 30. I had suffered so many injuries in the line of duty that by 30, I was forced to retire because of my disabilities. Spinal cord, nerve damage, arthritis in every joint and to much more to list. You know your body is F'up'd when the guy Social Security sends you to for an eval hands you cards of his buddies that are specialist that may be able to help. So at the age of 30, with out any fight from the government, I retired. I am 35 now, and it has taken five years of hard work to get to where I can get out in the field. I can no longer hunt or fish alone. My body has stuff that will work one minute, and then all of a sudden I cant feel my leg, Or my arm dont work. I have to work out to keep my muscles going, but it is a double edged sword. If I work out to much the Pump I get causes muscles to swell, and pinch off already damaged nerves. I am not whining, just letting you know where I am comeing from. I know where the guys and gals are in there head, and they have to stay positive. It is hard to do somedays. Thank You, and I look forward to hearing from you all and if you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
