I need advice on a new purchase of a crossbow..
i am looking to buy a crossbow and I am stuck on the 10pt phantom.. But I can't get over the price.. Does anyone have any suggestions on a crossbow to buy. Also does anyone know of any good used ones out there...

Keep in mind the Shadow is basically the same bow and is about $400 less because it does not come with all the accessories. Shoots 330 and still has the same narrow CLS front end.
David at Wyvern is a good option too. He may have a demo phantom available.

I have to second that... call David @ Wyvern. He is incredibly knowledgable and unbelievably friendly. He sold my bud, Brian, a Desert Stryker and Brian hasn't stopped raving about the customer experience. I'vetalked with David twice on the phone and will be purchasing a Parker Cyclone in the near future (from Wyvern, of course).
