Ranger, sorry about your troubles when it rains it pours sometimes. I am not making light if your situation but it made me think of a posture I saw.

Really, me too. The brakes went out on the way to work. I had to bring my car to a stop with my hand brake! That just compounds the other nagging issues with that car , like a broken exhaust that the manufacturer won't stand behind, L RR door won't lock/unlock with the button, R RR door won't open due to a clip in the door breaking, the car burns 1 - 2 quarts between oil changes (7500 mi interval) at 165000 miles. Heck, the car is only 10 years old! There is a component to all this which makes it worse, but I can't comment on it here.

Well, I guess I'm only out $550 so I can't complain too loud.

I feel your pain. During opening week of deer gun season on the 2nd day my transmission went out of my 02 Z71, I hurt my wrist and its close to christmas, but it all worked out just fine in the end. Truck got fixed, wrist healed and I got my buck on the bonus weekend.

On the post topic, what does O/T stand for? I've always wondered what you guys meant when you say O/T. Is it a secret code or something?

O/T means off topic, non hunting related, just friends sharing parts of their lives.
Sorry about the transmition Ranger, I lost one too this winter, the old van it was connected to wasn't worth the repair though, just an old work truck.
