I must be special because I have yet to dry fire a bow(of anykind)yet......I hope I didnt just shoot myself in the foot............

Oh yes I've dry-fired enough times that it is no longer embarrasing but no I haven't damaged my limbs yet! But I expect to because as you know I have an extra set of limbs ready for the occasion. I have, however removed the legs from a patio chair once, does that count? LOL!

Did you seriously just say that???

*snip* There are lots of guys (not me yet) who have dry-fired their bows *snip*

Glad I wasn't sitting in that chair!!
Because you are the only guy who thinks far enough ahead to have extra limbs you are pretty much guaranteed not to damage the ones you already have.. Murphy's law.

This is one club I do not wish to join, but thanks for the offer ..
Back to he limb cracking thing, its been bugging me,did the limb really crack or just make that kind of sound ?.The reason I ask is if I recall someone just got one with a upgrade that needed to be put on were the limbs attach and if it was, were the 4 bolts put back on tight because if you were trying to string it and the limbs had movement were they mount that might cause a sound of cracking if they moved in the mounting area..just a thought.....

I have not yet dry firedmy crossbowyet but used my rearview mirror to seady my test 50 yard shot yesturday. I guess it was to close to the cab, it jump forward and put a dent about the size of a nickle in my cab. First I was pissed but then I seen I hit dead center in the bulls-eye lol
