Default My First Deer(pictures)

Usually I do not post, as I just read the information provided. Today will be different though, as I have just Harvested my first deer ever. I used my Horton Yukon with Montec Tekan II broadheads. At about 4:15 today i heard noise from directly behind me, i looked back and saw a 6 point about 15 yards away. I did not have a good angle at him so i had to let him go. About an hour later, a doe appeared at the same spot along a cut corn field. I also didnt have a chance at her because of the extreme angle. I then turned and faced the field because i figured another deer would soon follow. Sure enough about 1 minute later a 10-point came along grunting and hot on the does trail. I had about 5 seconds to aim and fire, and at 12 yards I shot. The buck ran about 40 yards and dropped! perfect double lung!! I was so thrilled to get my first deer, let alone be a perfect 10 point buck!! it was a thrilling day, and a great way to start my hunting career!

Wow, great job! Way to go passing up the poor shots on the previous deer too! That shows true deer hunter savvy! Enjoy your great buck!!

Ok here is a better picture. I finally got it to work so you can see the whole deer instead of just half of his face
