Congrats on the 1st with CB......still waitting for mine but it looks like it will be nxt year if I cant figure anything out after surgery nxt week...

Did you get a pass through with the phoenix at a longer range? Just curious since it is the smaller of Excals, some info for guys that may be trying to make a decision. Again, congrats to ya!!
yep, a complete pass through, in fact there was a rotten deadfall behind her and the arrow buried itself passed the broadhead in that after it passed through... grantedthe woodwas extremely rotten but the shot was around 40 yards give or take(I paced it off, I had it guessed at the time at around 30-35 yards) and it stillhad a decent enough amount of energy left afterpassing through to do that... I actually thought I'd shot under her and missed until I got right up to the arrow and seen it was a hit


trying to recock that crossbow as fast and quietly as possible sitting all cramped up in that treestand proved to be an interesting little experince though... it isnt quit as easy in that situation as it is standing on the ground

Thats cool! Would be neat to see it stuck in tree after a pass through. Good info to have for guys thinking about the Phoenix later, or if I decide to be real nice to dad next summer!
