100/125 gr poi at 30
A week or so back one of our forum buddies posted a problem w/ field points dropping a bunch at 30 yds and attributed it to mixed weights of the points. I either posted or pm'ed him that I didn't think that was his problem. Since then I got some 125 gr field points and tested my theory today at 30 yds. Shot one 100 gr GT [Millers Killers] then a duplicate w/ 125 gr point. The shafts were touching the first attempt outta a Phoenix, Boo fff string, about 290 fps. The second attempt w/ two different arrows was even worse, ruined a vane they were so close. Just a fwiw type thing, now is the time to solve these mysteries rather than hunting them tasty deer.

Its always easy to tell Dan! I know one time I was doing lots of shooting with a six pack of arrows one summer with my Horton and even showed off with my one friends once that had the Titan Ten Point. I was shooting great with that group of arrows. Took all the field tips off to put on B-heads and noticed a difference in them. Weighed them at work and three where 85 grain and three where 100. I noticed no difference in them either on the target.

I had John Gish shooting both 100gr and 125gr and 75gr. and at no time at 20 yds. did i ever see any great distance between arrows and the was with 50gr. weight change. They may do more at longer range, will ck. at 30 yds. maybe even 40 yds. too.
