OK guys here we go again got my Parker back again managed to get about 50 shots so far with just a sticking trigger yippeeee! BUT I goes down to my friendly neighborhood archery shop cause out the 4 carbons that came with the bow only 2 would shoot straight silly me I bought 6 more Parker carbons and only 2 out the 6 shoot in the black on a Morrel target at 20 YARDS I gave them the spin test with several different BRAND new Saunders points and they have a slight wobble that even my tired old eyes can see what brand carbon do I have to buy to get at least 5 out 6 good shafts 6 out of 6 would really be nice but in the crossbow industry quality seems to be something totally unatainable. help deer season is close and need to order my tracer nocks

As said above most of us have had good luck with the Gold Tip Laser II's. I think mine are pretty good and they are great. But some guys have said Gold Tip has moved out of the country and the quality has went way down. I may have to put some flat nocks on my old Horton Carbons and give them a try if what is said about GT comes to pass. Was told a couple of years ago Easton makes Horton's Carbons, not sure about that though.

RE: Shafting
Thanks for the help my Parker experience hasn't been pleasant . But this Wyvern archery fellow has renewed my faith in crossbow archery he is a class act there is no doubt my next crossbow will be from his shop he has for the moment solved my arrow problem. I am, believe it or not, getting tired of complaining about Parker quality but gang IT AIN'T MY FAULT. The gentleman went through, out of curiousity and to do me a favor, 60 that's the big six-oh Parker shafts he had a hard time finding 6 six straight enough for broadheads. I have been hunting and shooting bows rifles and shot guns since I was 8 years old and manufacturers when you sell this old man a sows ear I will tell everyone that will listen and some that don't even care about it well thanks to the kind gentleman on the east coast I'm going to have enough arrows to hunt this year.

If you wanna try GT's call Danny Miller at 740 483-2312. Mexican GT's may have low quality, but he checks em before sending them out. Be sure to tell him what bow you have, in case you need 1/2 moon nocks. just saw my first Parkers this wk/end, they all had 1/2 moon nock arrows in the quivers attatched.

RE: Shafting
not to get off carbon arrows,i had a little test i did today..
i bent 1 arrow pulling it out of my feed bag..
it wobbled badly..
so, i came in and tried the spitfire on another arrow, arrow spun like top..
i then heated the insert and tried to get wobble out, it did not work..
so, i took the 2216 and eyed it and bent it by hand in direction it looked a little bent, seems bend is near insert..
i then reheated the insert and moved it..
i got the arow about 80% good with a little wobble..
i thought, hey sproule, lets see if that bent arrow will shoot same or close to the perfect arrow..
well, i was surprised, both arrows at 20 yds shot almost in same hole, over and over..
so, i think bent arrow ,if not bent to bad and has a little wobble at point, will still shoot fine,at least up to 20 yds...
anyone have a little trick you would want to shareon how or if you can get your aluminum arrow straight again?
