I seen a doe with twins yesturday. The fawns must of been born real late because they looked pretty small for september. Hopefully they make it through the winter, if they make it through hunting season
I've seen 2 sets of triplets this year and im pretty sure they arent the same ones. Can't remember the last time i've ever see triplets before, so this should be a good year for the deer, atleast in my area.

I would never shoot a fawn with spots or at leastnot yet but I have slung a young of the year doe over my shoulder for the trip back to the shed and stuffed the whole thing into the fridge. Called a couple of meat eating pals to tell them I had whacked one. They came over and thought I was kidding. Opened the fridge and these guys are still laughing and ribbing me years later. They say it was not in the whole fridge, just the deli meat drawer
They give outdoe tags for a reason and there are not any restrictions on age. Shoot what you want if it's legal.. Just make sure it's not a button buck.
PS.. when you need meat in the freezer those young of the year eat real good.

Them spots will be gone when they shed the summer coat and its hard to tell a fawn in the woods, I 've shot a lot of fawns after their shed and couldn't tell till I walked up to it.
