Default 3 or 4 blades?

I was shooting 3-blade 125 grain Muzzy's last year. This year I changed to shooting 100 grain tips and was looking at the Muzzy's again. I know alot of people preach the 3 blades, but never heard of many people shooting the 4 blade version. Does this BH not fly well or offer problems that the 3 don't? I know the Slick Tricks are 4-blade and get great reviews also. Really like the Slicks and the MX-3.

Was just looking at new heads for the season thats a month away.

Choices choices...

I HAVE BEEN USEING THE 4BLADE WASP BLADE SEEMS TO WORK OK, BOUGHT THESE ABOUT 5YRS AGO SO FAR BROKE 2 AND HAVE 4 LEFT.
THESE WASP BLADES ARE NOT TO ROUND AS TO PICK UP MUCH WIND FOR DEFLECTION, BUT I HAVE SEEN SOME MUCH SMALLER 3 BLADE 100.GR HEADS, I IMAGINE THEY MAY BE BETTER FLYING IN A CROSS BOW, ANY ONE USIING THESE SMALL BLADES WITH SUCCESS.

I like the 4 blade Slicks, but latly I can't seem to make them fly very straight with big vanes (4"), however they fly fine with 2" Blazers..
RecentlyI have been playing with 6 blade Talons, they fly as good as the Slicks (better in the wind), but again, only with 2" Blazers..
Oddly, I used to have great success with Slicks and 4".. Not sure what changed..

I did change from 4 3/4" vanes (what comes on Horton Alum. Lightning Strike MX bolts) to 4" AAE Elite Plastifletch vanes which I like 100X more.

I used the four blade 100 grain Muzzys for a long time with my older slower Horton and they flew excellent and I killed alot of deer with them. They did not fly to well with the new Horton which was around 320 area I think and then I switched to Tekans which fly great. I always had good luck with the old Muzzys though. I doubt I will try them on my Excal.

4 bladed Slicks, 4 3/4" vanes work great for me at around 300 fps. 3 bladed Thunderheads (much larger) very eratic with same.

I use the 4 blade 90 gr. Muzzys they work great. I've taken lots of deer with them and haven't had any failures.
