Default Crossbow and Work

Just thought I would let you guys now that 4 guys I work with asked me to bring my CB's to work today, they are all Vert shooters and want to try my Crossbows, none of them have ever shot one before so this could be a good thing. It will show them that shooting CB's is no easyer then vert and if anything maybe alittle harder due to the weight differance and the 1st thing Iam going to tell them is that Iam not responsible for missing Thumbs or Thumbnails ..
Later this afternoon I will post on thier reaction to them..........

Make sure you go over the range thing and explain how they are a thirty to fortyyard weapon and not a gun. Try having them shoot at top of target with twenty yard pin out to forty yards and let them see how much it falls. This was one thing I did with a guy once to get him to understand it was not a sixty yard flat shooter. Also, leave the Ten point at home and spoil them right off the bat with the dragon slayer!!

I would but I would like them to see how they both shoot and the noise differance in them, also Iam going to shoot side by side with them so they can see there is no real differance at 20 and 30 yrds. But yes they will get the talk.......

I am still at work and the guys got to shoot, funny thing how they thought they would hit the spot on the bag thinking it was so easy.
1st they all missed...
2nd they said how heavy they were.
3rd shot side by side..little dif..I got the best at both 20 and 30.
4th they all said how noisy they were.
5th they were all kinda worried about shooting them to start with...
Had to show them how to string the Excal witch they thought was perty neat.

They all had the same idea that it was going to be so easy and now I kinda opened there eyes to how hard it is to shoot a crossbow, thes guys are all in the late 20's early 30's......and they also said that it takes to long to load and shoot. So I asked them what advantage I had over them and they really had nothing to say.......
