Default Get outside and look!

Hey guys, tonight is the peak of the meteor showers. At one point there may be up to one per minute!

I was just reading about that, sounds cool...

the peak time for my area sounds like its goingto be around 1am though and I have toget up at 4:30 for work tomorrow, so its going to be at its best a little past my bedtime...

too bad it didnt happen last night, my son and I were bullhead fishing last night on a flowage right in the middle of a huge cranberry marsh and it would have been a great time and place to watch it...
we did get towatch the worse storm we've had so far this year roll in last night though, which was pretty cool, and by the time we got back towards home we were right in the heat of it, it blew trees down in my yard(and everywhere else), it also blew the kids' trampoline way over into the neighbors yard

it was a pretty good storm

Last night I lost count after 35. At around 10:00 to 10:30 I saw the most. The tails were the longest I've ever seen. Its rare to have the peak of a meteor shower and no moon at the same time.
Did anyone else see anything?

Don't know how I missed it, the wife and kids put up a tent beside the camper last night and I was on yote patrol.. Never did look up though.

I refuse to go out into the yard unless i have to. Reason is we have become overloaded with fleas in the yard and every where else. I put out 50 lbs. flea killer and got 2 big bottles of powdered boric acid fer in the house! They will cover my legs from bottom of shoes up past my waist in less than 5 min.

I did go outside right before I went to bed to see if I could see anything, but it was overcast here too...
