No I do not It's not the size of the caliber that mattersIt's state law in Kansas that you have to be 16 to hunt deer with a rifle.

Ok so state law says no to deer with rifle but good fer varmints with young'ens under 16. Is that just using rifle or with all weapons? Wondering as my old state was 12, but you could hunt everything with whatever was legal.[][:-]

Each crossbow company may have their own specifications for arrows(grain weights, length, shaft diameter)based upon some variables such as draw weight, power stroke. Since crossbows typically have such a heavy draw weight, they transfer more energy to the arrow, they need to be heaveir than an archery bow. If an arrow is too light it can have the same affect on a crossbow as a dry fire. Also, crossbow arrows are shorter (again varies on power stroke). They are called arrows or bolts, same thing. I suggest checking with the mfg. of your crossbow to be certain.

here in wisconsin you can getany license at age 12 but I think you have to be 14(maybe 16?) before you can hunt unsupervised, my son just went through hunters safety not that long ago but I cant rememberhow that worked,I'd have to look it up to be sure

Hey Trevor, tell me about your sling shot[s]. 50+ years ago my favorite uncle gave me a Whammo made out of ash w/ flat latex rubbers and a small leather pouch. He also repaired it when it fell out of my back pocket while I was climbing to the top of the corn crib for pidgeons. 20 yrs later while I was in the Navy, I got ahold of a Wrist Rocket and made a mould on the mill to make {14} 7/16" lead balls at a time.
