Default Lumi-Zone-- Very sweet.

Thanks to Excalibur, the Bow Shop and a little name dropping (Thanks Don!) I put the new Lumi-Zone on my Exocet today.
Wow.
Went to the range sighted it in to 20, back home to dial it in to 40 and whammo! It is big, lots of light and pretty sexy to boot.
I only got a dozen arrows with it, time will tell if it it here for the duration, but so far so good. Night and day difference between that and the Vari-Zone.

Is it that much brighter David? Can you let us know what it is like during magic hour? (half an hour after sunset)

Let us know about the low light ability. The varizone was fine at my other spot when I bought it, but I have noticed that I need more light in the swamp spot and any feedback on that one would be great before I get the vortex!

The scope rail that came with my Vari-zone worked fine, but for someone who needs their scope more forward on the crossbow you may need to use the optional rail that allows the scope to sit more forward.. I bought one just in case, so I have a spare.. I can post a photo of what I mean if anyone needs to know..
I will take this picture again tonight at 8:30..

The simple fact is that this scope is bigger, and lets in more light. Add that to the lighted crosshairs and you are good to go for a very cost effective scope. We'll see tonight when the sun goes down.
My camera my be a bit of a hinderence though..

There is no way I can get a picture through this thing at low light levels.. You'll just have to take my word for it.
