Rojow, if your past experience with a compound was with arrow speeds of well below 300 then you have to be a bit carefull. Some of the xbows start at 300 ft/sec and higher so some of the broadheads may not be as accurate as some others at those speeds. My experience with fast compounds is the same as with my Exocet 200 which can cast an arrow at 300 ft/sec or higher. Both can be picky about broadheads. Remeber that all you need is an arrow speed of around 260 ft/sec do pass through a whitetail at reasonable ranges. You do not need 300 ft/sec but it sure is entertaining!

ive got over 3000 shots through horton xbows and they r my choice. I own a horton Super Mag anda Horton Legend XT and both have proved true nock busters to me. I practice year round and in my opinion horton is my bow of choice for the money. I paid 500 for my xt at the beginning of last spring fully equiped with the multirange scope supplied by horton and other accesories and at 40yd i can bust nocks. Its all in personal preference. There are alot of good xbow markets these days.
