That had to hurt!!! Glad my hand is not in front of the arrow like that on my CB!! That post makes aluminum look great!

Man o Man! That gets the blood curdling. I've only heard of it happening on a crossbow once and it took out the front sight. I think I will start checking my carbon Xbow arrows now!

I agree..i was shooting ICS beman carbon....but after seeing that,i'm back to shooting my 2219's...i'm not taking any chances.....they do say to check your carbons every shot before and after.....i hope the hands doing fine Bud...try to be more careful next time....get well...Honkers

While I fully agree that one should check their carbons for signs of problems, I've just shot literally thousands of shots w/ GT's and had only two break; one in a foam 3-D target, and the other one somehow missed my target and stuck in a tree. I didn't do it!! lol, ok, I did. No bent aluminum in my quiver!
