Hey Arthur. It is a 62" Chek-Mate, Crusader model 50lb draw. I mostly made it to make strings for but it feels so nice on the draw that I have to see how it shoots. I never knew how nice a long bow is to shoot. Aside from that its just flat out beautiful! I also am amazed at how nice this points! It points like a perfectly fitted shotgun.

Looks cool Don! That was the one thing I disliked about my Dreamcast that you have on yours is the rug rest! I disliked being bound to feathers and disliked having to go to the shop refletching all the time. Good luck and keep us up to speed.
Jason, what was it that you didn't like about shooting off the shelf? The Dreamcast didn't have a berger hole to mount an arrow rest?

It only was set up for a rug rest or a stick on flipper or stick on finger style. With a compound bow the arrow is always in a perfect straight line as it is shot and never has to move around the rest as it is released. I disliked the arrow being moved a little up and over as the feathers went across the shelf or flipper. I know it works for people, but for me I could not stand seeing it being shoved out of alignment like that even though the arrow corrects itself in flight.
