..................someone said, compound bow users drive deer also ,thats true..i see that a lot..
In other words ........... you are saying that it is not the tool of choice that you are complaining about pushing deer:
i said before, this was first year i ever saw hunters in archery DRIVING deer with CROSSBOWS..
it is just the fact of the crossbow ............ since you have seen others before pushing deer with the compound. Again your statements only show your bigotry against anyone with the crossbow.

Spoulman read below .............
Like I said many times before ............ if you want to separate the crossbow from the vertical recurve and longbow, I have no problem with that, BUT include the vertical compound with the crossbow in that season. That would be one season for the crossbow/compound and one for the recurve & longbow.

If that above was accomplished, then you would not see the bigotry that you see .......... you would just see smoke rising from all the bigots and selfish hunters.

i am getting real good with crossbow too..i can put arrow in same hole shot after shot at 15 yds in my basement and never get tired out..

no doubt, a crossbow is one deadly mother in comparison to the compound which you have to practice, build up your arms and concentrate more than with a scoped crossbow..

after you do that, i still feel crossbow is much more ACCURATE than compound bow in the AVERAGE hunters hands..

thats good because of less wounded deer but it also means that i now have COMPETITION for that buck..

grumpy, its not crossbow its all new crossbow hunters..

Spoulman you have stated before that you hunt PUBLIC LANDS ........... therefore you have no right to complain of any new hunters that are in the wood as they have just as much right as you have to be there. Your statement above only shows that you areSELFISH.

It is really sad that you can not see that your attitude and the attitude of others is only selfish and discriminatory.

if i was selfish i would kill a doe when there are few!
if i was selfish i would tell hunters that tried to chase me out of my hunting area that i have hunted for 42 years here, they said leave, i did not chase them out!
if i was selfish i would not spend over 100 dollars a year to feed the deer!
if i was selfish i would not take a kid out with me to hunt and get him interested in killing a buck!
if i was selfish i would not belong to 6 sportsmen clubs!
if i was selfish i would not be trying to stop this meat hungry doe massacre that is going on here in pa!
if i was selfish i would not be trying to stop the early doe gun season that is wiping out the doe in oct!
if i was selfish i would not be trying to get the 2 week buck and 3 day doe season back!

as you can see,i am sportsman, when i see the new hunters come in and shoot doe that are left, yes, i get mad..many button bucks got killed this year, now thats SELFISH..i dont call hunters that shoot those little deer before they can grow up sportsmen..

they are SELFISH MEAT HUNGRY ..........,..,/.,,.//

Just the fact that anyone is more worried about what the other guy is shooting shows a selfish mindset. My nemesis is the deer and my weapon of choice makes no difference. I hunt for recreation and personal enjoyment not competition against others, known and unknown. I hunt to get away from worry and concerns, not create new ones in a different setting. Moaning, thinking and being concerned about what some guy I do not know or see in the next woodlot shoots only causes internal disorder.

Try it and you might find the true joy of hunting.

Like I said above, your not wanting any new members to hunt ......... that is selfish.

Also, you do not have the right to tell other hunters what they can shoot or what is acceptable ........ that is up to your local department of natural resourses. They determin the number of does to be acceptable to shot and what is the accetable number of bucks. If you have a problem with thier numbers, go after them, not fellow hunters.

we tried to stop it grumpy tom,USP even took the PGC to court, lost it..

only thing that is being done is not giving the PGC a license increase..

your right, its the DCNR that is telling the pgc what to do..they are only interested in trees..but thats another topic..

as for new hunters, your right on most too..here is example of why i feel way i do..

i have mother and 2 fawns and buck left in the hunting area i have hunted for 42 years..

now, in come the new hunters, are they after buck? noooooooooooooooooooo..what do they do, they go and kill the 2 fawns off, then they say to me,SPROUL WE DONT CARE, WE WILL MOVE ELSEWHERE TO HUNT..

now you know why i am mad ..who is SELFISH?WHO JUST DESTROYED a great hunting area and no concern for future?

then hear them say,BOY, THOSE FAWNS ARE GOOD EATING..this is not all new hunters i see but a great majority of them..i said to one,why wouldyou shoot a little fawn with his mother, answer was,it looked bigger than that..

this is same excuse whena 37 pd cub is shot..oh, i thought it was a grizzly!!

LOL, 1st you were worried someone would shoot your buck, then it was the doe killers and now you're on fawns? Man, I always knew there was a bozo on every bus, but never knew I'd get to meet the driver!
