Default Walking Wounded

is an old Viet Nam expression. IOW, dinged but still functional. Just wanted to explain a few things regarding xbows. As you all know an Excal Vixen is 150 lb pull. W/ a rope cocker, that is mechanically reduced to 75 lbs. The next most powerful bow, the Phoenix, is rated at 175 lbs, but w/ rope cocker, the difference is only 12.5 lbs. Next is the Exocet, rated at 200 lbs pull, but w/ rope cocker w/ 50% mechanical reduction, it's only another 12.5 lbs more than Phoenix. Another 12.5 lbs above Phoenix, yet 25 lbs above Vixen. Ya gettin my drift here?? Each upgrade in power is actually only 12.5 lbs in actuality w/ the use of a rope cocker. So, an Emax [a brute] at 225 lbs pull is only 37.5 lbs more pull than a Vixen as long as you are using a rope cocker.

Reb, Ya know I'm an Excal guy, lol, but gotta be honest, the Crankaroo sucks, and yes, I got one. If ya gotta crank your xbow, ya can not beat the 10 pt Acudraw, imho. Lord knows, it pains me to say that, lol.

Not many, no. Some have though, and quite successfully. Not my thing (not yet anyways) but it can be done.
