RE: Lookie Here!
Reb, think his point is they are legal during the firearm seasons and it would appear for handi-capped during archery season
Missouri
Crossbows for handicapped archers by permit and during firearms season.

just went thru the 2006 reg book and it appears to be allowed durring bow season, but here bow and rifle season runs together for a week or so.The only thing you have to do is wear blaze orange durring rifle season.

Thats what I read.
Its just saying you better be disabled with a valid crossbow permit if your going to have a crossbow in your possestion that is strung and in the passanger area of your veh and caseddurring bow season.Other then that it has to be in the trunk or back of a p/u or very back of a Suv and cased..
The season still runs with thearchery season.
Mn only allows People with temp or permenent disabilitys use a crossbow.
It used to real hard to get back, say 70s 80s to mid 90s.It is getting more accepted now,and the Docs are real good about it....(so Ive been told).
the only thing that dosnt need to be unloaded and cased when in a veh in Mn is your CCW.

I was stopped on my last hunting trip and was asked what was I doing,
had my bow on the back of my four wheeler, headed for the ground blind
on the county road.I have a permit that allowes me to hunt from a
vehicle, which I dont do,and after showing both permits the fellow was
more interested in my gear and my pup,Mo.seems to be accepting the
crossbow hunter in a more favorable light then a few years ago!I have
met a guy who has been disabled for three years now and he has told
me about some of his problems he had when he first started useing a
crossbow to hunt!He also said that its getting a lot better!
