Barnett Comando
I bought a barnett comando of of my buddy for 20$
Its never been used. I need to order Bolts
The only problem is I've never used one.
Got any advice?......
I'm an avid bowhunter, but allittle skeptical of
crossbows

RE: Barnett Comando
Welcome to the forum 1st off, from a former Bureau/LaSalle county resident! You got one heck of a deal!! I had one of those neat little bows along time ago. I can't remember the arrow data, so can't help you there.
Mine was used when I got it and it ate servings like crazy, maybe 30 -50 shots on one if I was lucky. I was told by Barnett then that there were supposed to be two small plastic sleeves on the string where the brass "fingers" grab the string to cock it, does yours have them?? If not, I'd suggest serving over the original serving to simulate them. Mine was deadly accurate, don't shoot twice at the same place, lol. There was an article in a back issue of HBM about a guy who rebuilt one of them, good read if you can find it.
