Is Barnett out of business??
[blockquote]I have a Barnett Quad 400 with issues. Have been trying to contact Barnett but no luck. Sent an e-mail to their service address with no response, then sent e-mail to their main address, still nothing, then sent letter to their CEO, nothing but nothing. Looked up their phone number and got a disconnected message. Can anyone shed some light on this??
Their web site is still operating.

Their web site is still operating.Me too! Blew the same bow up [to smithereens] but had got it from Cabelas. Both Cabelas and Bass Pro have very liberal return policies, believe Sportsmans Guide does also, w/ any luck at all, you may have gotten it at one of the three and can at least come out whole. Good Luck!!This is the only reason I haven't tried a 10 pt Pro-Elite, would like to experiment w/ one, but know if I return it, 10 pt takes the bite, and don't want to do that to a good company. Every Excal that gets ordered out and returned for whatever reason ends up at Danny Millers in Sardis, Oh. No matter what Excal product you buy from whoever, if you return it, Danny gets it. Fwiw: I had bought a V-zone from a dealer in Pa that I had issues w/.[scope,not dealer]When I talked to Danny, he said just send it to him, as he would end up w/ it anyhow. He asked what I paid for it, [$109] and sent me $109 worth of goodies BEFORE I even shipped the questionable scope back to him.

Does this Danny Miller sell Excaliburs?
I should have ordered one when my wife said to. I just found out I will be going home for about four days and I would be able to use it. I have been cheap and trying to find the best deal and now I won't be able to get one shipped in time.[:@]

Idon't understand marketing, feel like I have divided loyalties between pushing business Danny's way or showing the cheapest place to get an
Excal on the Net.

What kind of expiermenting would this person be talking about that he figures he would have to return a crossbow?? I just dont see anyone having to return a Proelite under normal or even heavy use ,, and dosent Excal in the end take the bite for every returned crossbow or cracked or broken limb or whatever??
What forum was this posted on Dan?? or am I misreading and is it you that would like to do the Expiermenting?

RE: Is Barnett out of business??
Henry: Danny Miller is the Excal warranty Rep for theUSA. Every Excal that gets sent back to "whom ever" ends up w/ him. My point is that anyone can order any xbow from Cabelas or Bass Pro, but if you/they return it, it goes back to the mfgr.[ Excal- Danny] {10 pt. to 10 pt}, and what I'm saying is I'm not gonna order a "play-bow" and have it sent back to mfgr just because I was curious. As it stands right now, I have no use for a 10 pt, other than to compare it to what I shoot. In other words, I'm not going to up their return crappola just to satisfy my curiosity.

RE: Is Barnett out of business??
I personally spoke to a Corp Barnett tech 2 weeks ago. I was in need of some answers and a part for my Xbow. They sent me the part free of charge. I hope they didn't go out of business in the last 2 weeks.
