Naw that ain't even gonna do fer me, one scrawny Doe! That just won't do, i want 6 of them. Plus several Bucks big ones in the Rack growing end! Gee the winds and rains are about to blow me trailer away. I don't knowed what is going on wid the weather but it really sucks here! [&o]

Well the sorry lying a$$ed weatherman should be hung ,shot and burned! I may get to hunt late this afternoon. Time is running out, just 2 more days of our 3rd Bow season. [&o]

It'sthe 4th Saturday AM in a row when the wind has been just about flat calm and the woods are just wet enough to be quiet. 25 degree colder than yesterday so lets see whats happening out there.Looking at 5 mph out of the NNW which is fine with me and a frosty 40.
The deer should be on the move after all the windand rain we had on Friday. I am bummed a bit though as I ordered a new bottle ofJames Valley and it did not arrive.
I spect Don will be getting up soon. The winds are in his favorand the clock just keeps ticking on Bow season.Well, it's early but I gotta hit the stand and take a nap before a 6:30 sunrise. It's 3:15 AM.. Do you know where your deer is?? >>>>>>>>Whack!

Things were perfect this AM!!!! The one problem I ran into was that I did not see one DEER. Sat long and hard which was about from 4:30 until 11:AM. Did not see a deer. Just goes to show that the best made plans often hit the dumper. >>>>>>>>>>>>Fi gure one maybe two more times in the woods and bow season is done. Maybe some small spots out of limits to gun shooters. THAT however will have to wait untilafter I get back from opening week of rifle in PA. YEAH!!!!

Yup i thought it was agood morning, cept wind was blowing some. I saw lots of birds and over 100 Honkers, but no deer. I am too tired to hunt this afternoon so in the morning i will be at it again.[]

Well today was the start of the two day youth hunt here in Ohio so I took the nephew out today. Well we got off to a rough start cause when I pulled into his drive to get him the house was totally dark! That only meant one thing, he was still asleep! After beating on the door my brother comes to the door in his underwear half dazed wanting to know why I was knocking on his door at five thirty in the morning, he then realized why I was there. Well we got to my spot where my game came is and we started to walk back to our blind, four does already out and we could not make it to the blind, still dark but the blaze orange probably made us glow! So now I am a little upset but we get into the blind and sit. About 8:30 we see three deer go into the far side of the woods, about ten min later we see the little six pointer go in after them with his nose to the ground. I told him to hold tight and the buck could run them out. About 9:15 I see my nice nine pointer coming at us that I have never seen in person and I will admit I was a little jealous! But he only came about 150 yards and then turned and went into the woods too. A half hour later one came out and was making its way to us and gave my nephew a nice fifty yard shot. He was a button buck and I told my nephew if he wanted him to take him so he did! He put a nice bow style lung shot on him and the deer walked around a little then laid down. I assumed it was a done deal since I could see the deer down and told him that we should wait fifteen min to make sure. We waited and then get out of blind to get him, get within thirty yards and he lifts his head up and runs!! I thought for sure he was dead! I told my nephew not to worry since I seen the lung hole and we would have to go back to blind and wait. We waited one hour, which was painful for him, but he made it and then found the deer not thirty yards from where we jumped him up. He is fourteen and this is his third deer I have set him up on!! A good morning. The only thing that sucked was the half mile drag out!!!

I know its not a CB kill, just wanted to share it with some of my good buds!
