Good report Dan on the turkey hunting! I have one of the G5 small game heads but have not used it yet, I am paranoid that the shot I take at the coon will spook the big deer I did not see coming. Went out tonight and did not see any thing while in the blind in the swamp area. But I had the crap scared out of me on the walk out. I was walking out the RR bed and it sits up real high, like the bank on it is a least fifteen to twenty feet. Well I wasabout half way out and about fifteen yards in front of me a doe jumps on the bed and starts her way up. And boy did she make alot of noise going up that bank! Then when she was about half way up she spots me and then she really panics and now is trying to get up but is spinning her feet on the stones freaking out and freaking me out to. She made it up and down the other side but I am not sure who was spooked more! Better luck next time!

I know sympathy is between $hit and syphalis in the dictionary so I don't want any! LOL! My Alberta hunt is cancelled unless some miracle happens. Bummer, looks like I will be slinking around Ontario only this year.

Don just why were yer hunt cancelled, being nosey! Shame all those animals get a reprived from you until next year. Well gun season starts sat. and i still haven't got one with my CB. Have to buy one i reckon. Its raining again and wind out of the south. Just sick of this weather that can't hunt my stands without getting busted! [&o]

Next year we probably won't get the trophy tags for mulies and moose tags because of the lottery system. We are talking about either a late season elk hunt (probably won't fly) or a caribou hunt in Sept. Whatever! Its better to accept what happens than to ruminate! Life will go on with or without us!
Thanks for asking Dan. Its been raining so much here too. Time to move to Arizona!

Wait a cotton pickin minute! I'm Dan, Smoke is Mike, but I call him Dave on occasion, lol, and all I asked was what kinda SuperBlackhawk did you shoot ducks and geese w/? But I am sorry to hear your hunt went south.
It's been raining here since yesterday like a cow whizzin on a flat rock. Should be good if it quits or else a couple of dandies outta be lined up by the Ark, lol.

I HAD a three pack of the G5 small game heads but gave them to the woods as an offering of sorts.
I guess a shot at a crow flying gently thru the tree tops is not a good enough reason to throw one away.
The crow did keep on flying.
The squirrel would just not shut up..... I think if I had been a bit more focused I would have been able to retrieve the squirrel and the arrow.That G5 is with the missing as well.
Not sure about the last one. My best bet would be under the grass in the back lawn..
I guess I better stick with the Judo points and blunts.. Cheaper for those weak moments..
Bummer when a hunt ends up in the dumper Bill .. You plan and think about a road trip for a year with a dream or two thrown in and then poof, Gone.
Drown the puppies. Wink Wink..
