I think its a great scope fer the Vixen and Phoenix and others that shoot about the same speed. Its just put yer yardage pointer on target and its in there. Now with the new Exocet and Exomax u maynot need it because they shoot so fast and flat, they can use a reg. 4x and be good from 0 to 40 yds.

If i had the money i think i would buy myself the new Exocet 200 and then sell my Phoenix. I really can afford only one CB.[] Then again i really like my Phoenix! Have to get good price fer it!

Smoke: There ain't that much difference in the Phoenix and Ecet. I'm getting 290 fps w/ Phoenix, 317 fps w/ Pdox and 328 fps w/ Emax. 431 gr arrows w/ all three. I actually had the Emax shooting 308 fps w/ Excel string, same as Phoenix w/ stock arrows in Right Stuff package, and FFF string. That's one thing about the Excals, you actually get two or three different bows performance wise outta one.

I'm also gonna correct ya, at least imho, on the shooting flat to 40 w/ Emax. Don't work that way. Still drops considerably at 30 yds, enough that you would miss if you tried to use a 20 yd sighting on a deer. I can't get 40 yds here at the house, but w/ Emax sighted at 20 yds, I have to use the 50 ydtriangle at 50 yds. [Not for deer].

I don't think you would see enough difference to warrant spending any money between those two bows, but just my opinion.

I just sighted it in this morning and I love it. I posted a thread with my results prior to seeing your post. I can not believe how accurate this scope is.

By far the best investment I've made in a while. 6 more days and I;ll be heading to the woods.

awshucks i knowed yer right about not that flat on traj. i should have said dead on at 25 yds. the other 15 yds. would be hold over. 40 yds. u would put xhair on backbone and it would drop right in.Spect i can go to 2117's or 2216's drop some weight and pick up few fps.I guess wid using2114's or 2213's i would get abit faster. All i hunt is deer right now. Just was talking out loud, as i like my Phoenix. Like u pointed out the Vixen is nice but not as good as the Phoenix. Someday i may get the Exocet 200 or shoot one someone has and see if i want to buy one.
