Man it sounds like you got hosed! I looked back through the post and you bought a phoenix and here is the prices from the web site you listed.....

Bow - 349
Quiver - 21
Crankaroo - 90
Scope mount - 16
Rings - 10
Scope - 80
Sling - 18
Wax - 4
Stringer - 16
Arrows - 25
B-heads - 30
Case - 38

Total - 697 Bucks!!!

What happened to the other three hundred bucks?

Just noticed you upgraded to exocet, add 48 bucks, 250 in the hole!

ok so now you are going to knock me because I bought the best compound crossbow on the market
and yes originally I had a phoenix bought it used big mistake turned out it had a bad limb.. so traded it in on the Exocet I naw have,, and maybe I bout more accessories for mine than you have for yours and maybe that is how I ended up with right at a grand in mine..

no wonder people are leaving this forum,, I have never knocked anyone for their crossbow of choice,,

and if I had the money I would have a Robin Allen custom crossbow..

and I guess youns would say it was junk too..

if you want take the advice of those who knock the different crossbows..

htoler, I wasn't knocking you. I just think spending that kind of money is a bit much, at least for most people. If you're in a position to spend like that, more power to you! I'm quite sure that's an awesome set-up and I hope you all the good luck in the world with it.
Didn't you see the on my reply? This forum is all about having fun and helping others, which is what I think we're doing with Danny. Like my poor dead Aunt used to say " let's be kind to one another".

When I made the comparison I based it on the 1600 buck package you spoke of. You never said that you bought extra stuff. So if someone reads the post they would assume that buying all the excal stuff to be the same as a ten point package will cost me a grand and that is not correct. Now if you did get extras and that is where the extra 250 went then that is fine but that is adding to the story after the fact and only creats confusion. And we were not nocking you, read the faces on post. I take a coment like that as I am sick that people can spend alot more on hunting then me!
