my most humble appologies
I just read in the Excal forum that the excel string is made of excellerant string which is made of........... dacron! I did not know that excellerant is dacron. Dacron is my fav material for xbows and will continue to be as well. The only problem is that my vixen came with an Excel string and it does not look like my dacron string at all. My dacron endless loop string is all black and the excel string is brown and green. I will have to get to the bottom of this!

Hey Dnk: The string on my buds carved tip vixen is black too, multi [endless loop]standed dacron, served end loops. So is the spare he ordered. HEHEHEWHE! Both the green and black dog choker and the Excel shoot the same fps for me, but no stretch on the Excel.

Here it is....
"Hi,
Yest the new Excel string is made of Dacron and the difference from our endless loop dacron is it has more strands and the ends of the servings are made to fit magtip limbs. The 2010 Endless loop string is only to be used on the older carved limb style.
Regards,
Peter"
