Planter, the endless loop dacron has enough "give" to it that would probably would have prevented limb breakage. That goes for the lower speed bows. You do loose a bit of speed that will cause the arrow not to burry so deep into the dirt after running through a deer.

Got my new limbs from Dan the man Miller. $28 bucks for two new limbs and two new strings. Six day from when I spoke with him including Sat and Sun and I am back on track. Glad I was not shooting a 10pt as I would be waiting forever LOL. Dan said to use some Loctite on the screws so I loaded them up with red.. Or was it the blue.. A little tweaking and I will be back in the saddle. As a side note I gotta give praise to Dnk as he said he would reserve my strings at no cost. HeckI don't even know the guy and he would be that generous. Kudos to my pal from the north. Thanks for all of your help and believe it or not there are guys here who offered advise who don't even shoot Excaliburs. I guess with the dry fire prevention some of the bows have maybe I should have bought a 10pt.

Planter: Glad to hear you're up and running again. Looks like they covered the limbs under warranty, gotta love it.

I hope two things for ya, If it was blue then you will be ok, But if you used red loctite on that and the threads were clean then you are gona be hosed if you need to take your limbs off again! Red loctite is like liquid welds, it is hard stuff! Glad to here your back on track!
