Too bad....I was thinking piranah or bull shark on a leash

That is one "helluva" nice buck for June! I have always liked floodplanes and swampy areas for nice bucks.

Based on a great deal of research, all bucks or males are always rutting or in rut. The question is whether or not the doe/female is receptive. In the bucks/males mind there is no harm in checking things out. Sure that buck is gonna get shut down but what if he passed on checking it out and he was wrong. That babe is gone forever. Oh yeah,Moxie don't need no stinking blood trail! That thing is gonna drop close enough to his stand that he could spit on it.>>>>>>>>>>>&gt ;Whack.

Being the Buck is in velvet he will not breed. That said i spect she is lactating and he smells it, or just keeping company. Deer are social animals and gather in groups and some times small herds. [8D]

You are all right but the picture itself, just looks like, not that it is, and that does send signals to the mind about the season to come, which we all look forward to.

I know I've got two good bucks working the area from the p[ictures my infrared camera has taken. That picture was taken the later part of June; therefore, he could be even bigger come hunting season in October. I'm in hopes to get a few more pictures of him before mid September.

The 2x3 I shot out of it last year dropped less then 50 yards away and I could see it.
