I went to wally world today and was lookin at a Horton steelforce 150 and a guy walked up and asked me if i knew anything about xbows. "I know a little bit". He goes on and on about how he has been hearin bout some 300 pound draw weight crossbow and he wants to find one to hunt with here in ohio. i told him right there, your crazy if you think you can draw that, and i've never heard of any such thing as a 300 pound draw weight xbow. he was 30-40 years old tooi told him that hortons are good bows but look around on the internet and you can find some good xbows such as excalibur or tenpoint. i told him about this site but heck, noone i told to go on here actually went so w/e

RE: LOL
thie highest pound pull crossbow I have herd of manufactured is the Middelton Crossbow at 245 lb draw weight, and is supposed to shoot 375fps orignally it was stated it would shoot 400 fps, last I herd they were supposed to be on the market in July, if you look at them they resemble an Excalibur a lot a whole lot..

RE: LOL
A 300 pound crossbow hasn't been made since the Middle Ages and wouldn't impart any realistic advantage anyway . It would be like deer hunting with a .50 BMG , sure it will drop the deer but why bothering carrying something that big ?
