Excellerant is theactual name of the endless loop string made for the mag tips, but it is usually abbreviated to just Excel. The names and product numbers I gave are directly from the Excalibur accessory catalog. People often refer to them in their own terminology, which really just adds to the confusion. Every string that Excalibur offers has a label on the back of the package that indicates the product number. The easiest way to avoid confusion with the different names is to just refer to the strings by their product number when purchasing. I.E. if you want an Excel string, refer to it as Excalibur string model 1994, that way no matter if everyone calls it something different, you will all be on the same page.
