I don't have any info on the buck buster. But I do have a Parker crossbow it is the Terminator I got it about 3 months a go and I love it I dont have a bad thing to say about it my bother-in-law as the safari Magnum he as hand it fortwo years now and not the frist thing as went worg with it. He killed aboutfive orsix deer with it and I have killed one deer and one coyote withit. But I cant say any thing bad or good about any other crossbows because I have only shoot a Parker.

Reed, thank for the reply. As you probably have guessed I am thinking of buying one but like most of us when were putting out hard earned bucks, I like to do a little research on the product before I lay it down especially given that ya darn near have to mortgage your best shotgun in order to afford one.
I have seen several write ups on the bow but have learned that the BEST info comes from the folks who actually use the product in the field.
Thanks again

I've never seen one, much less shot one. From what I read on the other forums haven't heard any one not liking them. There was an issue w/ one model or all [dunno] about a metal rail surface coming loose due to bad adhesive. Apparently they used a form of carpet tape to fasten a metal surface to a non metal rail, but read also it was resolved. I saw that Safari Magnum in the Peterson's xbow annual, wood stock looked sharp!!

Hunting buddy of mine boughta Parkerlast fall. I can't remember which one. It's a nice looking bow but,the metal strip on the rail kept peeling off. He also had several screws that kept working loose do to a crack in the stock. Parker backed the bow without any problems. My Exocet still out performed it in quality and performance. Best of luck to you in what ever your choice. Tom
