RE: Mineral/Salt lick
I found and old stump thats rotting and put a 50lb. bag of loosetrace mineral salt on it. Then a gallon of that stump licker minerals in apple scent of which i poured out all over the top and sides of stump. I also have my pb in big jar out on a stake by my best ladder stand. 4 trails go by it. I know the few things i do help the deer overall and will put out clover and kale last week in aug. Get food plots going before beans get combined in Oct.

I plan on getting one of those trophy rocks to put on top of stump. Soon as i can swing the coins loose. Thank the Lord deer season comes afore xmas! Other wise i wouldn't have a cent fer the deer or my hunting.[][:-]

When I went to pull the card today I took the camera out and took a close up of the mineral site. We had heavy rains a while back so the trace block melted away, but the mineral block stayed up and most of my cam pics show them nibbling on it. The pics dont show it good but it is about four feet across and I would guess about six to eight inches deep in the middle.

Thanks smokepolehall that sounds like a great combo you got going there.
Nice spot there Hotburn76.
Here lately the deer have been hitting my white salt block more than the Trophy Rock and they are only about 3 feet apart from each other.
