Default Arrow Drop

Hey i don't have a varizone scope, so i am doing the hold under and over Indian trick![]I have my lumbering logs sighted in at 25 yds.I have backed up in 5 yd. increments. 30 yds.1 1/2" drop, 35 yds. 4" drop and 40 yds. is 10 1/2" drop. [:-]Yup bubba not bad fer shooting heavy timber! [8D]They weigh 474gr. with 100gr. points. I might can lose that 1/2" at 40 yds. by using carbon inserts!

Ohhhhh an inch and a half!!!! Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Sounds like you have the perfect set up to me! All one needs is to be a good hunter and estimate range well or get markers and a ranger finder. Mike I use the hold over method as well and it works fine.

OK i went out this morning and shot 36 times at 40 yds. My arrows were every where from 12 1/2" low up to 10" and 9" low off to either side. Didn't have this problem wid peep. I found out all fletching is hitting scope mounts and they take off to where ever the want to go! Bummer i got to change something as i can't hunt deer with it doing that![][:-][&o]

What a nightmare at 25 yds.![][:-][&o]All 6 shot high and all but one went to the right.[] Then i have 2 pr. high and right but one pr. is 1 1/2" lower than the other pr. [:-][]Then one is center high and the other is lower and right.[]They all have exactly same components and weight. [:@]I took closest to red dot on target and have been adjusting scope down and left to get into red dot. [:-]Had to stop having a frog strangler outside. []Durn 2 days in a row with this rain. [:@]Good thing i live on big hill and have boat and motor! Its an old one but real good one.
