Ever have a day like this??
My buddy Tom [guide, hunter, falconer, animal re-habber ect ect] showed up to take me turkey hunting. Get out there, couldn't find my led light. Stumble around in the dark, lost my scope caps. Went to set up ground blind, poles for roof are trashed, looks like they got drove over. Ok, I'm planning on sticking a turkey anyhow. Next my swivel 360 degree turkey seat busts in half and drops my fat a$$ on the sopping wet ground. Well, I sit/squat/kneel for about 20 minutes, then remember Tom had a bucket in his vehicle, ain't too far, soI go get it. Thats where he finds me about 8:30 turkeyless. Here's the good part. He asks me if I know what's in the bucket. Ya'll wanna take a guess???? SNAKES!!! Come to find out he's got "about" ONE HUNDRED TWENTY of them in the vehicle, all venomous!! Yup, was sitting on a 7' Diamond back, a few copperheads, and one "very nasty" cottonmouth. He's even got a coral snake in there some where, and wait now, were not done yet, how do you suppose he's got the other 105 or so, give or take a few fangs penned up??? Pillow cases!! I get to looking and there's squirming hissing pillow cases everywhere. He was taking them from winter storage at his house to his re-hab/zoo facility at nearby state park. We're going back out in the a.m. but I'm DRIVING.

RE: Ever have a day like this??
10 PT: In a word, no. He's been bit so many times he's built up some kind of immunity. This guy is a local legend, he got stopped a few years ago on a safety road block, he had a bear in passenger seat, a mountain lion in back seat, and an alligator on the back floor. Needless to say the officer was flabbergasted. When he asked Tom if he had insurance and registration, Tom said "Yes, but there is a cobra in the glove box and I'd rather not open it." Officer opened the glovebox and a cobra rose up, hood spread and hissed at him. The officer was new in town, and told him to get that **** off the road! Too many tickets to write! He's rehabbed over 5000 hawks, 2000 owls, 41 Eagles, 12 bears ect. ect. Only in Arkansas!!
