Deer Sightings
So anyone seeing deer? I saw 5 last week and 3 so fer this week. My practice has been stopped fer past couple of days, rain and lots of it. going on the third day. Plus i have more honey do's than i can get done in a month! Just 151 days left until deer season opens. This rain has about ruined my turkey hunting so fer.[&o]

RE: Deer Sightings
Had 8 does in my yard Sunday morning. My drive way is 1200 ft from the main road and they are inmy drive way almost every night. Last October, my wife wakes me up at 3:00am and tells me to go to the window and lift one of the blinds very slowly. There by the window stood an 8pt, (2) 6pts and (5) does eating acorns. I haveover 100 oaks, 25 wild persimmon and 10 or 12Crab Apple trees onmy property. Theres 8 oak trees around the house. These oaks are over 100yrs old and produce tons of acorns. In August, the wild persimmons are loaded.

RE: Deer Sightings
I was out turkey hunting and was moving to a different field and saw 9 feeding together at 10:30 in the morning. Unusual in our area to see that many together at any time. But then again it's turkey season. Deer now and during deer season.....yep turkeys galore!

RE: Deer Sightings
Saw three deer on Sat and two today. Turkey hunting both days. Yup nice to see them. Pretty well had to make lots of movement and noise to make them move. Nice to see them all relaxed. I wonder what they taste like this time of year?
